Black Friday
Black Friday is a popular shopping day for various reasons. It is the first day after the last major holiday before Christmas, which indicates the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season. As part of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, many organisations also give their employees the day off. In order to take advantage of this, virtually all retailers in the country, big and small, offer various sales for a limited time period discount or offer. European, British, and many other Asian nations, including India, conduct periodic Black Friday sales. It is available both offline and online. In India Black Friday falls on November 25, 2022
Many stores offer highly promoted sales at discounted prices and often open early, sometimes as early as midnight or even on Thanksgiving ( November 24, 2022). Some stores’ sales continue to Monday (“Cyber Monday”) or for a week (“Cyber Week”).
Stores offer big discounts on Gift ideas, TV deals, Laptop deals, Apple devices, Tablet deals, Smart home deals, Kitchen & home deals, Vacuum deals, Mattress deals, Smart watch deals, Headphone deals, toys, and other gifts on Black Friday Sale.
Cyber Monday:
Cyber Monday falls four days after Thanksgiving. It was created to encourage consumers to shop online. Although Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving remains the busiest single shopping day of the year. In India, Cyber Monday falls on November 28, 2022.
Despite the fact that Cyber Monday only occurs once a year, some companies choose to start their sales earlier and keep them going for up to a week.
It is better suited for smaller items like clothing and shoes. Products like laptops, gaming systems and PCs, televisions, video games, tablets, phones, and even subscription services and SaaS programs are heavily featured in Cyber Monday sales.
The major difference between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is the kind of products that retailers provide at discounts and the sites where the discounts are provided. Cyber Monday tended to be for smaller electronics, appliances and clothes while Black Friday was for bigger ticket items, like TVs or Apple products.
